The cat is probably jealous of the time you spend doing other things – it is probably trying to attract your attention.

she is either hungry or just wants to play.

            She’s just playing.
And also your sweat has salt in it and they like to lick that.

Weird I know but either way, cats rock.

Of course she’s not retarded! Cats do that to show affection, play, or to just get your attention. If you want her to stop just keep a squirt bottle handy to spray her with when she bites. Or you could buy a product called Bitter Lime (or Bitter Apple, whichever you can find) and spray it on your finger. That makes it taste bitter (as the name would suggest) so she won’t lick or chew on it.

The sweat on your palms and fingers attracts the Kitty.
I have 2 cats and they constantly go for my toes and face.

I found if you wash regularly [ even after typing ] this stops.
Meh, if you like it, dont wash.

Perhaps she enjoys the taste of man meat.

It’s to do with the cat’s maternal instincts from suckling when it was a kitten! It’s similar to the way you may have noticed it usually takes a cat 5 minutes of digging there claws into you before they sit on your lap – which is trying to locate the milk on the mother cat… apparently! My cat claws and licks peoples arms… which all relates to the same thing = fighting for milk as a kitten – they can never get it out of their instinct!

Awww cute your cat is not a retard, she is doing one of two things 1. She is sucking and biting your finger for comfort think of it this way she does that to her moms teet but because you little finger looks like her moms teet to her she wants to suck it for comfort and feel close to you cute eh! 2. She wants to play with you, but i think it is more likely it is 1st option i said god bless her, she isnt a retard once again she is a cute cat, look after her and yes it hurts but think of the reason why she is doing it, that should stop the pain.

                            Hope i helped

if its a kitten its normal because he/she probably is growing teeth in.

She is bored and wants to play with you. that is her way of playing and practicing her pouncing with you. get her a cat toy to focus and play and practice her pouncing on. you need to be quicker and beat her at her game there. By knowing when she is doing it before she does it. the licking from the cat is kisses upon you as saying i love you in cat language. And the cat simply wants more of your attention of being around you. i hope that this helps you.

Ha no dont worry its normal for cats/kittens to do that. Mine do it, but its just to play with you and because they trust you feel like can be close to you by having contact etc. But if she is hurting you try shouting at her or stop her from doing it if you dont like it. :) xxxx
